At Triangle Child Psychology, we are proud to offer internship opportunities for college and graduate students who are interested in working with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Our interns play a meaningful role in supporting our practice through community outreach, development of therapy activities and clinical materials, social media projects, and administrative support.
We believe that early exposure to the mental health field can be an important part of a student’s professional development. Through their time at TCP, interns gain a clearer understanding of what it is like to work in a child-focused mental health setting. They observe the unique needs of children and families, learn about the many ways clinicians support clients, and are introduced to a range of clinical perspectives shaped by different training backgrounds and areas of expertise.
In return, our interns bring creativity, curiosity, and energy to our practice. Their contributions help us expand our community presence, strengthen the resources available to our clinicians, and continue building a thoughtful, supportive environment for families. Many of our former interns have gone on to graduate school and careers in psychology, counseling, social work, education, medicine, and related fields. We are honored to have been part of their professional journeys.
