My Approach

I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that people are inherently resilient and capable of growth. I often draw from Solution-Focused, CBT, and relational perspectives, helping you identify what is already working while also exploring the deeper emotional experiences that shape how you show up in your life and relationships. I understand that opening up and making change can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’ve learned to push emotions aside or carry things on your own. Together, we will work on building awareness, strengthening coping strategies, and creating meaningful shifts that feel realistic and sustainable. Whether we are navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, or relationship dynamics, I aim to offer a steady, genuine presence where you can reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and move toward the life and relationships you want.

More About Gibely:

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by my experiences and the relationships that have influenced who I am. My grandmother once shared a metaphor that has stayed with me, that we are all mosaics made up of pieces from every person we meet. This perspective guides the way I see children and families, recognizing how deeply relationships and environments shape development.

I was drawn to this field through a deep curiosity about relationships and the ways they influence how we see ourselves and connect with others. Over time, I began to notice how our experiences within relationships shape the patterns we carry, the roles we take on, and how we navigate challenges. This curiosity, along with my own lived experiences, led me to pursue a path where I could support others in better understanding themselves within the context of their relationships.

I understand that when a child is struggling, it can impact the entire family. My goal is to create a space where your child feels safe, supported, and able to express themselves, while also partnering with you to better understand their needs. I believe that healing happens through connection, and that children are resilient and capable of growth when given the right support and care.

Together, we will work to strengthen relationships, build emotional understanding, and support lasting change both in and outside of the therapy room. As your child grows, I remain committed to supporting your family every step of the way.
