I approach therapy from a relational, trauma-informed, and developmentally aware perspective. I believe that behaviors, emotions, and relationship patterns often make sense within the context of a person's experiences, environment, and connections with others. My goal is to help clients and families better understand those patterns while building healthier ways of coping, communicating, and connecting with one another.
I recognize that children, adolescents, and young adults today are navigating social, emotional, academic, and relational pressures that can feel overwhelming and difficult to communicate. I strive to create a space where clients feel understood, accepted, and able to explore challenges openly while working toward greater confidence, insight, and connection in their lives and relationships.
I also value working collaboratively with parents and caregivers to better understand family dynamics, strengthen communication, and support positive change outside of sessions. My approach draws from Attachment-Based, Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma-Informed, Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy perspectives while remaining flexible to each client's unique needs and goals.
